JOB SUMMARY

Locates and picks parts in the warehouse that are needed for work orders. Distributes parts to appropriate work centers. Puts away parts in the warehouse and assembly point-of-use areas. Operates industrial trucks and/or hand trucks to move parts to the desired locations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform all assigned job function in a timely, accurate, and in accordance with the facility safety rules.
• Accurately load parts in and out of the warehouse.
• Sorts parts according to routing destination inside the factory.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles, pallet jacks, and hand tools as needed.
• Clearly and tactfully communicate issues to in-house personnel.
• Lift objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Extend hands and arms to hold, grasp or turn objects.
• Work in conditions with occasional exposure to various temperature extremes.
• Operate a computer terminal.
• Move hand and foot in a coordinated manner in accordance with visual stimuli.
• Securely pack parts to prevent damage during handling.
• Follow work orders provided by supervisory personnel.
• Inventory items received and quickly assign store locations/destination of items.
