Position Overview:

The Operator Specialist I is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production equipment. This position plays a key role in performing quality checks, packing products, and maintaining consistent equipment performance. The Operator Specialist II ensures adherence to all safety, quality, and operational standards while supporting production efficiency and process reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to standard procedures.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure they are packed in the correct configuration.
• Perform quality checks on product sizes and quantities to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Adjust machines as needed to minimize downtime and maintain production quality and efficiency.
• Replace adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machines.
• Ensure all finished goods and work-in-progress items are properly labeled and labeled in the correct position.
• Stack finished products correctly and prepare them for transportation.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Promptly report any issues related to health and safety, hygiene, quality, or production efficiency to the supervisor.
• Follow all company policies, including safety rules, process documentation, and quality standards.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and submit in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of continuous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Completion of OSI training packet.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions and maintain consistency in production processes.
• Experience using measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers) is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and ability to maintain productivity under minimal supervision.
