$30.63 plus shift difference

 

Standard M-F Schedule

Occasional Weekend (Saturday/Sunday) Production Work is Required at Times

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.
  2. Coordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved.
  3. Plan, assign & direct work.
  4. Appraising performance.
  5. Reward & discipline employees.
  6. Address complaints & resolve problems.
  7. Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis.
  8. Support & improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals.
  9. Ensure safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly and revised as necessary.
  10. Weekly Crew Meetings.
  11. Order Sealing operations supplies.

 Specific Safety Responsibilities:

    1. Report any unsafe conditions that are encountered.
    2. Report any injury or near miss to Team Leader immediately.
    3. Do not perform a duty that appears to be unsafe without consulting a Team Leader.
    4. Recognize hazards of the job and learn how to avoid them.
    5. Follow BJA's and SOPS.
    6. Observe all Safety Rules.
    7. Wear safety equipment and protective devices as required: steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, cut-gloves, harness, etc.
    8. Keep work area clean and uncluttered.
    9. Conduct safe behavior observation on a weekly basis, 4 a month are required

    Specific SQF Responsibilities: 

    1. Adhere to the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) policy.
    2. Every Evergreen team member has a responsibility for ensuring the products we produce are safe and of good quality.
    3. Personally act with behaviors consistent with achieving and maintaining Safe Quality Foods Level 2 certification.
    4. Behavior in the facility, and on equipment, shall not compromise the food safety goals.
    5. Follow responsibilities for this job description on make ready, start up, or change over/line clearance procedure.
    6. Do not run unsafe product.
    7. Support the goal of producing a food safe product by following all programs, policies, SOPs as well as GMPs.
    8. Report and/or fix problem that creates a Food Safety Hazard.
    9. Place suspect product on precautionary hold.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

 

  1. Attendance: Will be reviewed for the past 12 months.
  2. Overall Evaluations: Must have an overall score of 80% for the past 12 months.
  3. No written warnings or performance deficiencies on file for the past 12 months.
  4. Must have strong computer skills.
  5. Supervisory experience preferred.
  6. Good verbal & interpersonal communication skills.
  7. Strong troubleshooting experience to evaluate root cause and implement corrective action.  
  8. Ability to work well in group situations.
  9. Ability to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent manner.
  10. SAP experience preferred.
