We are seeking a strategic and analytical individual to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the demand planning processes across our Supply Chain Planning organization.  The subject matter expert will serve as the go-to authority on our forecasting tools, methodologies, and best practices which are critical to enterprise-wide activities and improved service.

• Establish the best practices for demand planning.
• Serve as the organization’s expert on demand planning systems, tools, and reporting.
• Collaborate with the Systems team to develop, implement, and maintain systematic best processes for demand planning.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve demand forecasting models using historical data, market trends, and business intelligence.
• Define and ensure compliance with internal standards and best practices that support processes (e.g., S&OP, demand consensus, annual demand budgeting) with accurate and timely forecast data and insight.
• Ownership of forecast accuracy and forecast bias KPIs identifying root causes of variances and driving corrective actions.
• Develop standard processes that enable the demand planning team to efficiently analyze gaps between the Blue Yonder demand plan and the financial forecast.
• Develop and deploy training and documentation for staff on demand planning tools, techniques, and continuous improvement.
• Manage/Collaborate on demand-related process improvement initiatives and tool evaluations in conjunction with relevant functional areas.
• Deploy continuous improvement tools to solve problems and improve current practices (A3’s, Kaizen and Fish bone diagrams).
• Collaborate with other planning managers on best practices and standard work to achieve cross-functional synergies.
• Interview and provide recommendations on new demand planning team candidates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain, Operations or Finance
• 6+ years of experience that includes some combination of supply chain planning, logistics, operations, finance, project management and/or continuous improvement.
• Excellent Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills
• Proficient with SAP, Blue Yonder & Tableau/Power BI.
• Ability to effectively communicate at a strategic and tactical level through all levels of the organization.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes.
• Demonstrates strong project management, planning, organization and cross-functional skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Pactiv Evergreen, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000 - $158,400.
