Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing scheduling processes across our Supply Chain Planning organization.  The subject matter expert will serve as the go-to authority on scheduling tools, methodologies, and best practices which are critical to ensuring optimal resource utilization, component and product availability, approved inventory levels, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

 

  • Establish the best practices for manufacturing scheduling.
  • Serve as the organization’s expert on manufacturing scheduling systems, tools, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Systems team to develop, implement, and maintain systematic best processes for manufacturing scheduling.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve scheduling frameworks and templates for enterprise-wide use.
  • Define and ensure compliance with internal standards and best practices related to detailed production schedules that align with plant capabilities, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
  • Ownership of the Schedule Compliance KPI by analyzing schedule performance, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and deploy training and documentation for staff on scheduling tools, techniques, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage/Collaborate on scheduling-related process improvement initiatives, tool evaluations, and system implementations in conjunction with relevant functional areas.
  • Deploy continuous improvement tools to solve problems and improve current practices (A3’s, Kaizen and Fish bone diagrams).
  • Collaborate with other planning managers on best practices and standard work to achieve cross-functional synergies.
  • Interview and provide recommendations on new scheduling team candidates.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in supply chain, operations, or project management.
  • 6+ years of experience that includes some combination of supply chain planning, logistics, operations, finance, project management and/or continuous improvement.
  • Excellent Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills.
  • Proficient with SAP, Blue Yonder & Tableau/Power BI.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at a strategic and tactical level through all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes.
  • Demonstrates strong project management, planning, organization and cross-functional skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Pactiv Evergreen is required by laws in many locations to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Pactiv Evergreen, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000 - $158,400.
