Extrusion Operator Specialist|Canandaigua| HIRING IMMEDIATELY 

 

 

Starting Pay Rate: $23.47 per hour (Paid Weekly)

 

Available Shift: C-Shift 3:30-11:30pm (Sunday, Monday Off or Friday, Saturday Off)

Responsibilities

Job Description:

 

RDPP Extrusion Operator Specialist duties consist of the routine operation of extrusion equipment in a safe and effective manner.  This includes, but is not limited to, correcting quality deficiencies, basic maintenance, adjustment, troubleshooting, and process.  The RDPP Extrusion Operator Specialist will direct, assist, and train lower-level operators must be able to successfully run multiple lines concurrently, and/or pieces of equipment. 

Operator Specialist duties also include basic set up, operation, changeover, and troubleshooting of all equipment related to extrusion in RDPP.

Paperwork, Insight, quality checks/testing and housekeeping must be complete and accurate for all lines / tasks assigned to the Operator Specialist. This is an in-development department with new processes’, it will require flexibility and a willingness to be flexible. Actual start date T.B.D. based on business need.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • At least 12 months in an Operator position
  • Demonstrated team player, good cooperation and communication.
  • Proactive approach to process interruptions and down time.
  • Train lower-level operators
  • Able to lift 50lbs and meet essential physical requirements of position.
  • Must possess or immediately purchase the required tool set for this position.
  • Failure to meet the above essentials will result in disqualification from the position.
  • Must be willing to accept an available day off schedule in the new department. (7-day work schedule)
  • May be required to work in a different department depending on business needs
