Electronics Tech I| Hiring Immediately | Mt Top, PA

 

Shift/Schedule:

10 hrs Mon-Thurs.

 

Compensation:

  • Starting pay rate $35.02 per hour

Responsibilities

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Will be expected to diagnose and repair all equipment with minimum supervision.
  • Should be familiar with all in-house equipment and procedures related to electronics field and have a fundamental understanding of mechanics.
  • Will be expected to maintain necessary records.
  • Will be expected to identify faulty parts, be knowledgeable of where spare parts are located and provide proper information, in the form of a requisition, to order parts or supplies that are not presently on hand.
  • Assist in training of maintenance employees to upgrade their knowledge of electronic repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Be diversified and willing to assist in a variety of skills as needed.
  • Maintain a preventative maintenance program on all equipment that will maximize equipment reliability and dependability.
  • Develop and maintain a business relationship with vendors and equipment resource personnel.
  • Other duties as necessary

Qualifications

Operate Equipment:

  • Ability to operate motorized equipment and other peripheral equipment safely and efficiently as required.
  • Demonstrates ability to utilize standard hand tools.
  • Ability to operate basic machine shop equipment.

Maintenance/Repair:

  • Demonstrates advanced mechanical aptitude and abilities.
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of production technological methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment in manufacturing facilities.
  • Can demonstrate an understanding of the principles of basic electricity and electronics.
  • Can demonstrate proper techniques used to install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, outlets, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Can demonstrate proper techniques used to connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, lighting fixtures, thermostats, signaling systems, power equipment, or other components.
  • Can effectively observe functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards, defects, and need for adjustments, relocation, replacement, or repair.

Quality:

  • Ability to develop and maintain processes that are ISO compliant
