Compensation:

This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.

As a Maintenance Team Lead, your role is to provide technical support for process and equipment issues in the assigned area.  Work closely with area Engineers, Unit Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads, and other technical & Maintenance team members to identify areas of opportunity and resolve issues to improve department performance.  Responsible for leading efforts to identify and resolve equipment related issues. Individuals will also have a key role in developing training plans. The regular work schedule of this position will include one day on the weekend and occasionally require overtime.

• Remain aware of surroundings and obtain knowledge of all required PPE for the job
• Responsible for following all required safety procedures are for each task you do
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Immediately address and escalate any safety concern, risk, hazard, near miss, or injury immediately to the appropriate supervision on shift
• Periodically audit employee PPE throughout the day

Productivity

• Troubleshoot complex/critical processes or equipment and provide hands on approach to resolve.
• Responsible for the safety of all employees within the department
• Support activities to increase safety awareness, boost morale
• Oversee maintenance team and monitor plant utility and support systems
• Provide directions to the maintenance team on all process interruption calls to ensure actions are aligned with production goals
• Assess training needs and administer training as necessary
• Assess talent and ensure the development of team
• Communicate effectively with all levels of operations
• Maintain good housekeeping of the maintenance shop
• Assists with employee performance evaluations and may counsel employees as needed
• Completes daily attendance reports for department
• Actively participates in problem solving and continuous improvement

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of electrical and controls troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
• College or Technical college coursework highly desired
• Strong computer skills (minimum above average ability in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access desired)
• Ability to work with and create Excel spreadsheets using formulas and macros
• Intermediate understanding of PLCs and experience with PLCS programming desired
• Experience using SAP and ability to learn to use other software programs (ie CMMS)
• Detailed oriented
• Must be able to be involved in several projects at one time, able to ensure progress through continued monitoring, prioritizing, and follow-up
• Ability to work with associates at all levels of the organization
• Ability to provide effective informal coaching and training
• Ability to set priorities and cope with several problems simultaneously
• Ability to create training documents, single point lessons, and forms as needed
• Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Possess a positive professional attitude
• Power industrial truck certified
• Lock out tag out certified
