Compensation:

  • Competitive starting pay range of $23-$26 per hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

As a Training Coordinator, you will work closely with the Plant Manager, Unit Managers, Supervisors, HR Department and other members of the leadership team to prepare, facilitate, schedule, monitor, evaluate and document training activities. 

Essential functions:

  • Organize and develop training programs that are aligned with the operating unit, to identify specific training needs to address current and planned future training.
  • Facilitates onboarding experience and training for new hourly employees.
  • Responsible for the daily maintenance of training records, to include collection and data entry.
  • Facilitates and schedules plant training.
  • Monitors the performance of the facilities trainers for consistency and effectiveness.
  • Maintains plant calendar and tracking system for training.
  • Facilitates and tracks employee recertifications.
  • Participates in audits of training records for various audits of training program.
  • Support and assists HR Department.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and ensure OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years prior experience working in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong leader with good interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple and diverse tasks with minimal supervision and the willingness to be flexible with job responsibilities
  • Strong experience and proficiency with Microsoft and Outlook with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to meet the scheduling and attendance expectations of the role, including evening, weekend and holiday hours as appropriate.
  • Strong ability to communicate, verbally and written.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
