Overview

The Senior Analyst – Transportation will support domestic Transportation rate management and operational KPI reporting and analytics within Pactiv Evergreen Inc. 

Responsibilities

 

 

DESCRIPTION:

Operate as a member of the Transportation Reporting and Analytics team, which will require backing up other team members as needed. Responsibilities to include:

  • Provide financial and operational KPI reporting and analytics to the Transportation Procurement/Operations teams
  • Conduct RFP/Bid analysis for a portfolio of 3,000+ lanes
  • Utilize an AI tool for lane level performance reviews
  • Calculate and track project savings, supporting the Program Management function
  • Generate ad hoc reporting and standard dashboards with Tableau/PowerBI
  • Perform data integration (ETL) activities, leveraging multiple data sources
  • Ensure data integrity and data flow across data sources
  • Automate standard weekly, monthly, and annual reporting for all levels of the organization
  • Drive continuous improvement in Reporting and Analytics tools, processes, and outputs
  • Contribute to annual budget activities, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial performance reviews

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education:

  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, or Finance. Direct experience in the subject field may be considered in lieu of this requirement at Management’s discretion.

Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of progressive experience with Supply Chain or Data/Analytics, preferably in a fast-paced consumer packaged goods environment.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office Tools & Suite.
  • High proficiency in Excel, including ability to use array formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Proficient in Tableau and/or PowerBI
  • Proficiency in SAP a plus.
  • Deep conceptual thinker with proven project management background.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers; role will work with a diverse set of internal customers including sales, customer service, logistics, and warehousing.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information verbally as well as in written formats; the role will be required to communicate potential risks and mitigation plans to diverse groups.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems logically and systematically; role requires background in problem solving processes and root cause identification and correction.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines; must be able to handle time sensitive issues whenever urgency is required.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle several urgent issues at the same time in order to resolve the issues in efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Pactiv Evergreen is required by laws in many locations to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Pactiv Evergreen, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $83,400- $139,000.
