DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The Sr. Operator Specialist supports the department's daily operations and has an important and challenging role, one that is visible to others and requires professionalism and sound judgement skills. They provide leadership to work teams and ensures that associate work assignments are accomplish according to developed standard work instructions. They work with department leadership and act as the primary trainer to ensure productivity, quality, and safety goals are achieved. They will coaching associates in conflict resolution with tact and in alignment with company policies and procedures. The Sr. Operator Specialist will be expected to lead the teams by example and will cover for the Team Leader in case of absence. Overtime is required.
Other specific projects, duties, or responsibilities:
Sr. Operator Specialist duties are in addition to existing responsibilities as an Operator Specialist, or other position held within the work group. Percentage of time performing duties will fluctuate with business needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

**INTERNAL CANDIDATES** - Remain in good standing (no more than 5 attendance incidents and no Step 2 Corrective Action.)
Certifications/License:
Must be able to get a lift Truck license.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Must be in good standing. An associate is considered in good standing if he/she has no more than 5 attendance incidents and is not in the first six (6) months of a Step 2 Corrective Action.
Must have six (6) months’ time in current job position, unless move is initiated through business needs.
