Compensation:

• Pay range is $71,300.00 to $118,800.00

Production Supervisor (Nights)

Available Shift: Nights 6:00pm - 7:00am 2,2,3 Schedule with every other weekend off

Compensation:

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $71,300 to $118,800/year.

Responsibilities

This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.

This position covers the night shift (7 pm - 7 am) and has a 2 day on / 2 day off schedule as well as every other weekend on. 

Job Duties:

• Manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality
• Typically supervises 90 plus employees
• Coordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring & training employees
• Planning, assigning & directing work
• Appraising performance
• Rewarding & disciplining employees
• Addressing complaints & resolving problems
• Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis
• Support & improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals
• Ensures safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly and revised as necessary
• Daily time and attendance completion
• Communicates regularly to manager per escalation plan requirements

Job Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree preferred (business, engineering)
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Direct supervisory experience highly preferred
• Strong verbal & interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to work well in group situations
• Proven ability to de-escalate situations as needed
• Ability to deal effectively with conflict in a mature & consistent manner
• Good computer skills
• SAP experience preferred

Located 30 miles north of Charlotte, Mooresville is a large town located in south western section of Iredell County, North Carolina, and is a part of the fast-growing Charlotte Metro area. 

The plant was built in 1996, manufactures cups, lids, and trays, and has approximately 700 employees. This plant was also awarded the Safety Plant of the Year and Food Service Manufacturer of the Year Award.
