Compensation:

  • Starting rate $34.00 an hour

Responsibilities

This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.

 

Job Summary:

 

Provide technical support for process and equipent issues in the assigned area.  Also, work closely with Area Engineer, Unit Manager, Production Associates, and other technical & Maintenance team members to identify areas of opportunity and resolve issues to improve department performance.  Responsible for leading efforts to identify and resolve chronic equipment and process issues. Individual will also have a key role in developing training plans and tools. This position will also be required to work overtime.

 

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoots complex/critical processes or equipment and provides hands on approach to resolve.
  • Responsible for safety of all employees within department.
  • Support activities to increase safety awareness, boost morale.
  • Oversee Operators and monitors run conditions of production lines.
  • Assess training needs and administer training as necessary.
  • Assess talent and insures the development of team.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of operation.
  • Responsible for ensuring all production capacities are met.
  • Responsible for ensuring that only quality product is produced and distributed. Maintains good housekeeping of the production facility.
  • Assists with employee performance evaluations and may counsel employees as needed.
  • Completes daily attendance reports for department.
  • Manages problem solving and continuous improvement for 1 Value Stream of product families.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  •  
  • Minimum of 4 years of electrical & electronic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair experience in a manufacturing environment
  • College or Technical College coursework highly desired
  • Strong computer skills (Minimum above average ability in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Access desired)
  • Ability to work with and create Excel spreadsheets using formulas and macros.
  • Intermediate understanding of PLCs and experience with PLCS Programming DESIRED
  • Experience using SAP and ability to learn and use other software programs.
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Must be able to be involved in several projects at one time, able to ensure progress through continued monitoring, prioritizing, and follow-up
  • Ability to work with associates at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to provide effective informal coaching and training
  • Ability to set priorities and cope with several problems simultaneously
  • Ability to create training documents, Single Point Lessons, and forms as needed
  • Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Possess a positive professional attitude.

  • Power Industrial Truck Certified
  • Lock out Tag out certified (Glad Hand Locks)
