Overview:

The Lead Training Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of training and onboarding new employees as well as production associate training. The objective is to complete standardized training using a flexible timeframe to match each individual’s learning pace while ensuring training progress is achieved, and to accomplish all training in a safe and effective manner. 

The Coordinator is responsible for overall recruiting and community outreach liaison.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct orientation meetings
• Audit employee on time training and certifications, investigate issues and assess training need
• Audit training records and training materials
• Audit on boarding including classroom and OJT
• Audit standard work, trainer competency and trainer certification
• Community outreach and temp agency liaison
• Overall recruiting including interviewing, moving candidates through ICIMS, conduct stay and exit interviews, coordinate job fairs.
• Maintain employee files on ADP cloud

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• The ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively as a part of a team is essential
• Good verbal & interpersonal communication skills; ability to work well in group situations; ability to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent manner.
• 2 years experience in classroom and OJT
• Manufacturing background a plus
• Good organizational skills
• Intermediate Office skills
• Experience in ADP and SAP systems
• Experience handling multiple projects at one time with ability to work in a fast paced environment.
