Responsibilities

 

Hybrid position with 1 day a week in the Lake Forest office.  Possibility for fully remote. 

DESCRIPTION:

  • Support the Paper/Packaging and Data Analytics teams.
  • Assist with bid analysis and make recommendations on award scenarios.     
  • Provide spend analysis and insights that drive operational improvement and cost savings.
  • Report on procurement key performance indicators (KPI’s).
  • Maintain monthly/quarterly pricing for pulp and recovered fiber products
  • Play an integral role in procurement data governance to help pave the way our organization works with data over the next 1-5 years.
  • Create procurement roadmaps based on data driven business journey
  • Collaborate with category managers and leadership to develop standards for reporting on category information, including standard templates and data views.
  • Maintain and assure data quality for internal use. Lead process improvement efforts to improve data quality and efficient execution.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or the equivalent in experience.
  • 2-5 years of data analysis experience with an accounting/supply chain/business operations focus.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Tableau and/or Power BI experience helpful
  • Experience with managing large datasets and merging data from multiple databases.
  • Expertise and familiarity with handling large datasets to analyze, draw conclusions and present viewpoints.
  • Comfortable making recommendations around
  • Ability to independently manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
