The compensation range is specific to remote positions and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Pactiv Evergreen, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125K- $209K.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assists in developing and implementing quality programs to ensure finished goods meet all quality, customer and food safety requirements.

• Recommend and develop procedures and processes that optimize and drive consistency into all aspects of manufacturing.

• Continuously define, monitor and evaluate effectiveness of quality programs.

• Ensure continuous compliance with internal, government, customer, and third-party food safety certification requirements, including on-site audits within the OUs.

• Become SME in customer requirements for the OU and promote awareness and adherence throughout organization. Assist plants in investigating and resolving customer quality issues, internal/external product failures.

• Collect, analyze, summarize and prepare quality reports for internal and external purposes as needed.

• Provide technical support and expertise in statistical methods, problem solving methods, and process improvements to plants and investigate application of engineering solutions where possible.

• Manage data gathering software, including procurement, installation, programming & end-user training.

• Support scrap and cost reduction projects and champion plant improvement efforts for COPQ.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree preferred in Engineering or Technical Discipline.

• 6-8 years of quality management experience or process engineering in a manufacturing environment.

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer/Professional Quality/Statistical Application certification preferred.

• Experience with performing and undergoing audits. Experience with GFSI schemes preferred.

• Microsoft Office, Statistical Software (Minitab), SPC software (GainSeeker preferred)

• Superior knowledge of statistical methods, problem solving methods and process improvement

• Knowledge of manufacturing lab practices and test procedures

• High level of attention to detail

• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills and ability to communication across all levels of the organization.

• Up to 75% travel depending on need.
