Incentives:

• Pay Rate: $18.83 per hour including shift differential
• Paid Weekly 
• Only 14 days of work every month to be FULL TIME
• 12-Hour Rotating Shifts with EVERY OTHER WEEKEND OFF
• Night Shift Hours: 7PM-7AM

Requirements of Packer Position:

• At least 6 months previous fast-paced manufacturing experience required
• Previous experience with night shift is highly preferred
• Experience with 12 hour shifts, is a bonus
• Demonstrate and maintain the ability to change wrapping papper and film
• Demonstrate and maintain the ability to operate a Straw Wrapper
• Demonstrate and maintain the ability to clear all stoppages and return the wrapper to an operating status

Summary: Packer safely and effectively packs finished goods and prepares product for shipment.

Responsibilities of a Packer: 

• Packers provides support for the operations team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspect product for defects and pack finished goods in correct configuration in a manufacturing setting / warehouse environment.
• Performs quality checks and ensures correct counts on various product sizes and packs into the appropriate packaging.
• Makes minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and ensure quality product.
• Replacement of adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machinery.
• Ensure that any finished goods or work in progress identification labels are present and placed in the correct position.
• Stacks finished product in correct configuration, ready for transportation.
• Responsible for ensuring good housekeeping, and that area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy.
• Promptly inform supervisor of any issues concerning health and safety, hygiene, quality and efficiencies.
• Follows all Company established rules and policies; Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations.
• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous packer experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred
• Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.

We are looking for individuals experienced with assembly line work, packing, machine operator assistance, and other faced past manufacturing positions!!!

Physical Demand/Effort:   

• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift
• Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job
• Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles
