Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant with a strong background in finance, accounting, and systems IT to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in public accounting (core audit, IT audit, risk advisory, etc.), corporate accounting & finance, or consulting in risk, information systems, digital finance transformation, or business process outsourcing (BPO). In this role, you will play a crucial part in our accounting and finance transformation strategy initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and support digital accounting and finance transformation projects and the implementation of business process optimization initiatives.
  • Identify, prioritize and assist in the implementation and optimization projects to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities.
  • Lead and contribute to projects focused on streamlining the Company’s accounting close and reporting processes, improving overall financial controls.
  • Utilize expertise in systems IT to identify underutilized applications with the intent to promote efficiency in the Company’s accounting and finance processes.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing business processes and organizational structure to recommend improvements, including implementing digital tools, for increased effectiveness and organizational optimization.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as external auditors, to ensure alignment of financial processes with organizational goals, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Provide expertise in financial reporting and accounting policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with emerging or complex accounting standards.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in digital finance and accounting.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, Big 4 audit or consulting is a plus.
  • Strong background in risk management, IT audit, or digital finance transformation.
  • Master’s degree and/or CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and Microsoft office applications (excel, etc.).
  • Familiarity and experience with large ERP systems (SAP, OneStream, etc.) and financial accounting applications and technologies (Blackline, Basware, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially with unstructured projects, and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams from various departments, including members of senior management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
