Description:

• Analyze Logistics financial results, performing variance analysis between budget / prior year vs actual figures to understand and communicate overall performance; identify trends and recommended improvements.
• Ensure all financial reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform financial forecasting for Freight & Finished Goods Warehousing.
• Extract and transform raw data from various data sources into useful information to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational decisions.
• Maintain and continuously improve current financial planning and reporting systems.
• Create and automate reports by established deadlines and on an ad-hoc basis for management.
• Strong data mining experience in structured and unstructured data (SAP BW, SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) in a business environment with large-scale, complex data sets.
• Work to continually improve processes and performance to drive results.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment preferred
• Strong understanding of financial P&L, specifically Controllable/Variable and Freight costs
• Experience in Corporate FP&A or Commercial FP&A required
• 1-2 years of data mining and analysis experience preferred
• Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills required
• Knowledge of SAP, BW, Essbase/HFM preferred
• Tableau experience preferred
• Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, packaging, as well as other departments and senior management
